Jalen Brunson led the New York Knicks with his second straight 40+ PT night with 42 points, 5 3PM, and 4 rebounds as the Knicks defeated the Sacramento Kings, 98-91. Domantas Sabonis extended his single season franchise-record double-double streak to 49 straight with 21 points and 14 rebounds as De’Aaron Fox added 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 9 assists. The Knicks improve to 40-27 as the Kings move to 38-28.

Jalen Brunson becomes the fourth NYK player in franchise history to have back-to-back games of 40+ points, and the first to do so since Carmelo Anthony in February 2014. Patrick Ewing and Bernard King are the two other players in accomplish this.

The Knicks have now allowed less than 100 PTS in five consecutive games, this is the first time a team has had such a streak since November of 2022, when the Brooklyn Nets did so.

This is the first time the Knicks have had such a streak since Nov. 11 – Nov. 20, 2015.
