JUMP STOP & PRO HOP | SKILL BREAKDOWN | INTERMEDIATE + ABOVE

🏀 The purpose of this skill is to create separation and space between you and your defender with a substantial change in motion and/or direction.

🔑 The key to and effective jump stop and pro hop is stability and mobility.

1️⃣ JUMP STOP: Begin with short stutter steps, coming to a full jump stop by landing on both feet at the same time. Begin this drill slow and increase speed as you improve.

2️⃣PRO HOP: Beginning on one side of a ladder or line, use both feet to hop over. Focus on changing direction to ensure the defender stays on your backside. 📈
